This includes engineered foundation plans ranging from individual custom designs to mater plans. Our framing design capabilities include full framing plan construction documents, structural checks of framing plans by others, and quick turnaround framing fix designs during construction.
In coordination with our Geotechnical Department, we have extensive experience in designing foundation for a multitude of soil types and conditions. These include standard shallow foundations, deep drilled piers/grad beam, post-tension slabs, stiffened and structural slabs, pressure treated wood foundations, and helical piers. These designs can be provided as part of a full construction document or as a separate plan for precast or prefabricated structures.
Investigations of existing homes are provided as part of a sale transaction or when the possibility of damage exists. Our prices are reasonable since we have extensive experience with these evaluations. We have developed a practical understanding of whether significant damage has occurred or not. We also provide Due Diligence Reports for commercial buildings.
With extensive experience in new construction and building renovation, we have developed unique insight into investigation of damaged structures. After we determine the cause of the deterioration, we will provide a practical, often innovative, repair solution. If structural damage is the result of foundation/soil problems, our coordination with our Geotechnical Department allows a more comprehensive understanding of the problem and the ability to provide an appropriate and practical means of repair.
