New Construction Design Documents

Full Consulting Structural Design:  Services include preliminary structural systems, cost analysis, design and preparation of structural design documents and complete construction administration.  We provide expert analysis of construction materials including wood, steel and masonary.  Our experience specializes in the structural design of commercial, office, educational, government, retail, industrial, churches and apartments.  RMG Engineers is a leader in the design community.

Building Renovation

Structural services are available for the renovation of old or damaged structures.  Our professional approach to these projects combine our understanding of how these older buildings were constructed with the utilization of modern day materials and methods.  This provides a cost effective and practical means of renovation.  Our past projects include Cripple Creek and Victor building reconstruction, downtown building rehabilitation, Broadmoor mansion renovations, and existing building additions.

Residential Design

Foundation and framing designs are provided to the home building industry.  This includes engineered foundation plans ranging from individual custom designs to mater plans.  Our framing design capabilities include structural checks of framing plans by others to be stamped for the Building Department and quick turnaround framing fix designs during construction.  Full framing plan construction documents are also available for large custom homes.

Foundation Engineering

In coordination with our Geotechnical Department, we have extensive experience in designing foundation for a multitude of soil types and conditions.  These include standard shallow foundations, deep drilled piers/grad beam, post-tension slabs, pressure treated wood foundations, and helical piers.  These designs can be provided as part of a full construction document or as a separate plan for precast or prefabricated structures.

Structural Evaluation Reports

Investigations of existing homes are provided as part of a sale transaction or when the possibility of damage exists.  Our prices are reasonable since we have extensive experience with these evaluations.  We have developed a practical understanding of whether significant damage has occurred or not.  We also provide Due Diligence Reports for commercial buildings.

Foundation Repair

With extensive experience in new construction and building renovation, we have developed unique insight into investigation of damaged structures.  After we determine the cause of the deterioration, we will provide a practical, often innovative, repair solution.  If structural damage is the result of foundation/soil problems, our coordination with our Geotechnical Department allows us a more comprehensive understanding of the problem and the ability to provide an appropriate and practical means of repair.

Miscellaneous Structural Design and Consultation

Our staff is available for various types of structural consultation and designs for land development structures, retaining walls, sign posts, small projects, review of tenant finish plans, advice during preliminary conceptual development, and compliance observations.
